There are few more recipes than these Tex-Mex style beef tacos… but with all the flavor of European Beef! An authentic recipe that suits all those who are Proud of Beef in the house.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 g of veal fillets
- Olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 or 2 Mexican hot peppers
- 250 g of fried tomato
- 100 g of beans
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon of oregano powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika powder
- ½ teaspoon of clove powder
- Go out
- Crumbled feta cheese
- Chopped coriander
- ½ chopped red onion
- 1 red tomato, diced
- 12 corn tortillas
ELABORATION
- Peel and chop the garlic and onion. Clean and chop the bell pepper.
- Fry the onion, garlic and bell pepper in a large pot.
- When 5 minutes have passed, add the spices, the tomato and the finely chopped peppers.
- Sauté for a while, add the beans, stir well and set aside when hot.
- Add salt and pepper to the steaks and cook them in a frying pan. Cut them in thin strips and reserve them.
- Cook the tortillas in a very hot pan, without any fat or oil, for about 2 minutes on each side. Then, fold them in half so that they take the shape of a taco.
- Stuff the tortillas with the sofrito and the meat, add a little red onion, tomato, some coriander and finish with the feta cheese on top.
