For the mid-morning break, for a snack before the gym, or for that informal dinner where you want to surprise everyone. A person who is Proud of Beef tells you how to prepare this Roast Beef Sandwich with your eyes closed. And if you’re not careful… he eats it too!

INGREDIENTS

  • 600 g of veal loin
  • Fresh thyme
  • Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 c/c mayonnaise
  • 1 c/s cream cheese
  • 1c/c quality mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Perrins Sauce
  • 2 c/c sour cream
  • 1 red onion
  • Lettuce leaves (or watercress sprouts, arugula…)
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 c/s of capers
  • 2 anchovies
  • 2 gherkins
  • 1 zucchini
  • Go out
  • Pepper
  • Thyme
  • Rosemary
  • Seeded bread and cereals

ELABORATION

  • Flange the piece of meat, season with salt and pepper and season with rosemary and thyme. Add a dash of olive oil. Cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 220ºC. Leave to cool and cut into thin slices.
  • Mix the mayonnaise with the sour cream and the mustard in a bowl. Add the perrins sauce and the cream cheese. Add the anchovies, the finely chopped gherkins and the capers. Mix well.
  • Cut the zucchini into thin slices and briefly grill them. Add salt and pepper. Cut the tomato in slices and the red onion in julienne.
  • Spread four slices of bread with the cream of gherkins and capers, place the lettuce on top, the zucchini, the tomato, the onion, some slices of roast beef, again some sauce and cover with the remaining slices of bread.
